When we first began producing Becker Slings, we supplied a Standard Spread Bar. This has been a simple and consistent bar over the years
and it works well. From the first model, we enhanced its functionality by putting guide sleeves into the bar to make passage of the pins easier. We also began including the green "Quick Attach
Straps" so that the time taken to hook the body slings to the bar was reduced considerably, which increases the safety factor for rescue personnel. To disconnect the body slings at the
termination of the rescue, one simply pulls the safety pin and then the support pin using the supplied colour coded lanyards.
